Young Chamber

Young Chamber is a new initiative launched by the UK government’s Chamber of Commerce, connecting young people with their local business community. Chairman of ICM, Dr Alistair Somerville Ford, took part in an entrepreneurial event at Avonbourne School in Bournemouth, acting as one of the ‘Dragons’ in their own version of the BBC2 television programme ‘Dragons’ Den’.

A Young Chamber event based on BBC 2’s ‘Dragon’s Den’ saw ICM Chairman Alistair Somerville Ford judge three teams of students bidding for money to launch enterprises at Avonbourne School, Bournemouth on 14 March.
