Back on track for the New Year
Ben is recovering well from his knee injury and looking forward to the 2008 teaching and racing season.
Ben Milward, a leading competitor on the Motocross scene, is almost fully recovered from a knee injury that has put his career on hold temporarily.
The injury was sustained earlier this year during a British Championship event in Ireland. Following a successful operation in Salisbury in November, Ben has been undergoing physiotherapy for his knee and is forecast to be fully recovered by early next year.
This injury isn’t the first that Ben has received. He has also suffered a hit in the face by a rock that had been churned up on the track by the bikes. Although he suffered two painful black eyes, he determinedly continued to race, finishing third and fourth in the next two races of the event.
Ben plans to re-start his teaching classes in the New Year and is looking forward to racing again in the 2008 season.
