Scouts raise money for Uganda trip
The 38th Bournemouth Scouts & Avon Explorers group has recently held another fun event in order to raise money for their upcoming Nile 2010 trip.
The scouts and their leaders will be venturing to Jinja, in Uganda, in August next year, when they will be helping to build a vocational training centre for the community.
So far, the group has raised more than £40,000 to which ICM is adding the funding for a brick-building machine – a prototype of which is shown in the video below:
Members of the group are carrying out fundraising activities every weekend, including sponsored haircuts, bike rides, car washing, and cake stalls.

I’m an ICM student in Dublin doing a Diploma in Business Studies, and am very very greatful for the work the scouts are doing in my country (Uganda) and i would like to contribute a little donation towards their 2010 trip. Thanks Norah.
